Where Rhauderfehn is
Rhauderfehn belongs to the district of Leer in southern East Frisia, close to the border with the Emsland and less than half an hour from the Netherlands. The municipality lies between Leer and Papenburg and is easily reached via the A31 motorway (exit Rhaude or Papenburg) and the B438.
Driving times
- Leer (East Frisia) – about 20 minutes
- Papenburg – about 20 minutes
- Weener and Westoverledingen – about 20 minutes
- Emden and Aurich – about 45 minutes
- Westerstede and Oldenburg – about 50 to 70 minutes
- Groningen (NL) – about 70 minutes
That puts a large part of East Frisia, the Emsland and the Ammerland within an hour's drive. For companies in this region I can be on site in the morning and back in the afternoon – without any overnight costs.

By train and bus
The nearest larger railway station is Leer (East Frisia), on the Bremen–Groningen and Münster–Emden lines. From there it is about 20 minutes on by bus or taxi to Rhauderfehn. Do let me know when arranging an appointment if you are coming by train – then we can match the times, and I will collect you from the station if that helps.
Appointments at your company
Workshops, facilitation and team development usually take place at your premises – which makes more sense, because the people involved stay in their familiar surroundings and nobody loses half a day travelling. Travel and accommodation costs are charged separately in accordance with the terms and conditions; within East Frisia and the Emsland there are generally no overnight costs.
Or with no travel at all
Individual coaching, project support and many consulting conversations also work by video. The free initial consultation always takes place by phone or video – so you need not travel anywhere for it. My tools, such as the systemic board or card work, can be used in online sessions too, so working together across greater distances functions well.
