Why prices are shown at all

Many consultancies name no figures and have prospective clients enquire first. I consider that unnecessary: you should be able to judge whether working together fits your budget before you invest time in a conversation. The rates below are therefore complete, including the increase from March 2027.

Travel, hotel and other expenses may be charged in addition.
Day packages include eight hours per day.

* For Personal Coaching (private clients), 19% VAT is already included (final prices). Expenses and travel costs are charged separately.

What the rates include

• Preparation and follow-up to the usual extent – the time in which I read into the subject, prepare a workshop or write up the results. You are not paying only for the hours in which we talk to each other.
• Documentation of the results in the agreed form, such as a target picture, a process overview or a written agreement.
• The tools we work with. You keep the results as files in open formats and need no licence for them – the tools are free software and remain available to you after our work together.

What is not included

Travel, accommodation and other expenses are charged separately in accordance with the terms and conditions. Within East Frisia and the Emsland there are usually no overnight costs – see Directions. Licences for third-party software, where a project requires them, are yours to bear; I do not sell software and receive no commission from any vendor.

How invoicing works

By time spent, on an hourly or daily basis, or at a fixed price agreed in advance where the scope can be clearly defined. For longer projects I invoice in stages, so that you can decide after each step whether and how to continue – I prefer that to a large contract where it only becomes clear at the end whether it was worth it.

Rates are negotiable by arrangement. For non-profit organisations, associations and start-up ventures we can usually find a solution – just ask.

And what costs nothing

The initial consultation of about 30 minutes, by phone or video. In it we clarify what the matter is and whether I am the right person for it – and if I am not, I say so. Also free of charge are all tools on this website, the two papers under E-books and every article in the blog.
